Mannequins Dance Palace at Tiki Tackett World Take another spin on what was once known as the "worlds largest rotating dancefloor" at my faithful re-creation of Mannequins Dance Palace at Walt Disney World's Pleasure Island! This nightclub, once the number one dance club in the Southeastern United States, closed its doors in September of 2008 after almost twenty years of service. This club was very special to me. I went every Thursday from 1998 until it closed in 2008...missing only six weeks in that entire timespan. It was a place to go to relax, have a good drink, and take in the sights, lights, motion, and music provided by what I consider to be some of the most talented DJs and Technicians in the business. Mannequins Dance Palace is going to be in "Soft Opening" mode for the next month while I work out some bugs with the animation and interactive pieces...but I have opened its doors to you so you can see the amazing artwork I have been working on for the past few months so you will know that waiting for Tiki Tackett World to materialize is definitely well worth the wait.
